Select which unit you are upgrading below 5000 Series Memory Installation 4000 Series (discontinued) Memory Installation

1. Download program HERE

2. Unzip the file with a utility such as WinZip then save the files to the desktop: (Note: Only older operating systems such as Windows 98 will need to use the utility otherwise its built directly into windows)

3. Open unzipped file:

4. Run the Setup.exe file - double click on the file:

5. Click the “Next” button:

6. Click the “Yes” button:

9. Click the “Finish” button – Installation of the firmware program is complete:

10. To run the firmware upgrade program, click Start -> Program Files -> Firmware Download

11. At the next screen, connect the 6x00 player to the computer with the USB cable:

12. Once the computer has recognized that the player is connected, the screen will change to the image below. NOTE: At this point if necessary back up your production by copying it from the player to the hard drive of your computer. Installing the upgraded firmware WILL completely erase what is stored on the player. When finished hit the “Start” button:

13. This is the last chance to back up anything that is on your player. This is warning you that hitting the “Yes” button will erase everything that is on the player. Hit “Yes” to continue:

14. Firmware has been installed successfully! Reload your production on the player and you are ready to go!
