Q: What is all this stuff with my unit?
A:
Included in the box:

Audio cables - one cable to connect between your PC and the player when recording, the other to connect the player to your phone system or the optional on-hold adapter

AC adapter (110VAC).

MessageStudio Software - produce your own custom on-hold audio from your PC's desktop.

Q: How do I get audio onto the unit?
A:
Install MS software onto your PC, hook the unit up to your PC, plugging into to the SPEAKER port (your PC's sound card), Open Software, Select Music and Messages, Push PLAY MIX on your screen and your selections will automatically record onto your units memory chip.

Q: I hear beeps being recorded, can my customers hear that?
A:
NO, those beeps will not be heard

Q: What does the MessageStudio Software do?
A:
It lets you select music and messages that you want to become your music on hold.

Q: How do I record messages in my own voice?
A:
By using a PC microphone you can click RECORD MSG, on the screen of your MS Software and record a message in your own voice. Next, select music to go with your recording. Hook the unit up to your PC, plugging into to the SPEAKER port (your PCs soundcard), Push PLAY MIX and your selections will automatically record onto your units memory chip.

Q: How is the music getting to the phone lines?
A:
The music is always playing through the phone system.

Q: How do I rerecord messages onto the unit?
A:
4000-you need an external audio source such as a PC, CD player or radio

Q: How do I hook the unit to the phone system?
A:
The unit hooks into the Music On Hold (MOH) port of your phone system.
